ISM4552: Social Media Analytics Final Project
May 2024
During my Spring 2024 term, I took a social media analytics course where I learned about different analysis programs, strategies, and insight on the social media industry. For my final project, I chose to do analysis on Instacart's social media strategy and used the knowledge gained from this course to create a strategic plan for how to improve social media presence.

January 2024 - April 2024
During my Spring 2024 term, I took this course where I created a fake business and designed a brand kit, marketing materials, a commercial, and podcast. This allowed me to work on my brand messaging skills and design skills.

Infinity Allstars Lady Reign
October 2023 - May 2024
Infinity Allstars Lady Reign is a cheerleading team based in Jacksonville, FL. I had the pleasure of designing labels and merch for their end of year nationals competition. Additionally, I developed content to get put out throughout the year to spark engagement.

Communications & Technology Intern
May 2023 - August 2023
During Summer 2023, I interned for Custom Strategic Solutions as a communications and technology intern. In this role I started up the social media platforms for CSS, and launched a social media plan as well as a new website.

ISM4117: Business Intelligence Project
March 2024
During this course I learned a great deal of data visualization through PowerBI. This software was used in various assignments/projects during the class. In this particular project, I created a brief report on visitors and sales of key items at Disney World comparing 2022 totals to an average of the pre-COVID years.

Choosing Me
Unselfishly
August 2023 - November 2023
Choosing Me Unselfishly is a mom-empowerment small business that aids in navigating motherhood. They needed assistance and consistency in posting and building their community. I did social media management and content creation scheduled for 4 months through my freelance, Designed By Dariyn.

Sisters 2 Service
January 2024
Sisters 2 Service, an FSU student organization, reached out to me to design a new t-shirt print for them. This was one of the first times I was able to produce designs for clothing, and it was very exciting. I designed around 5 prints and the final choices were decided by the executive board of the organization. I cannot wait to see these designs on FSU students in the future.

Alliance for
Black Women
February 2024
I served as Public Relations Chair for Alliance for Black Women, an FSU student organization dedicated to service, sisterhood, and empowerment. In this role, I managed the social media and with that came 2 major campaigns: Fall Week & Spring Week. This project reflects spring week where I created and optimized flyers for our events happening during the week.

LeKayla Griffin
April 2024
LeKayla reached out to me in need of flyers for her donation drive she was creating. I formulated ideas and designed two options for her. She used one of the flflyer designs for the main image of her drive and it was plastered on other donation materials. This project was fun to do and I am pleased with the outcome.

Did You Know?
I have my own freelance business called Designed By Dariyn! I started this as a way for me to help out smaller businesses and individuals while learning more about other industries that can use my help! I began my first project in August of 2023 and have picked up projects since then.
